Love can make us do crazy things and here is the perfect example of that.  A man in Pune put 300 banners on the road on which his girlfriend was supposed to travel to apologize to his girlfriend. He put up banners saying (name of the woman) I AM SORRY then a heart sign. This may seem a really romantic way of expressing your love or apologizing to you but Pune police don’t think the same.

Nilesh Khadekar, who is a 25-year-old businessman had a fight with his girlfriend and to apologize to her, he thought that putting banners in the city would be the most romantic way. Reportedly, he spent 72,000 Rs. for these banners. And then put it on the roads on which she was supposed to travel.

Well, we do not know how his girlfriend felt about it or did she forgive him or not? But we know that for sure that the Pune police didn’t. The whole act of apologizing got him in legal trouble.

In an interview given to Hindustan Times, a police official said, “We managed to zero in on his friend Vilas Shinde who had helped Khedekar get the flex hoardings printed. Through him, we traced Khedekar who is the brain behind this act.”

When asked by the police officers, the man said that he had a fight with his girlfriend and she was not accepting her apology so he thought of something more romantic and creative and also that this ‘creative idea’ would help him in getting his apology accepted.

The police had legitimate reasons to accuse him but this was not a crime and they didn’t even have any charges against him so they let him go after some compensation and compromises. Now we just hope that his girlfriend forgives him because this man did go through a lot of trouble to make her happy.
