#URITrailer : Uri Trailer Is Out And Vicky Kaushal Is All Ready Again To Set Box Offices On Fire

URI: The Surgical Strike is an upcoming Bollywood action movie starring Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari and Mohit Raina. It is directed by debutant Aditya Dhar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala.

The first trailer for the URI was released on Wednesday, 4th December and has got about 4 million views till now on YouTube. This action-drama film is based on the surgical strikes of 2016 conducted by the Indian Army on Pakistan in order to payback an alleged terrorist attack in the Kashmir region Of Uri.

The Uri attack of 18 September 2016 was an attack by four heavily armed militants on the Kashmir region of Uri town. It was outlined as “the deadliest attack on security forces in Kashmir in two decades”. India blamed Jaish-e-Mohammed, the militant group for being involved in the execution and planning of the attack. Vicky Kaushal plays the role of an Army Officer who leads the operation. Yami Gautam plays the role of an intelligence officer most likely based on Jessica Chastain’s Oscar-winning film Zero Dark Thirty character.

The Uri trailer starts by the scene “On 18 September 2016, 19 unarmed Indian soldiers were martyred at Uri base came, Kashmir,” the title reads. The character of Vicky Kaushal is introduced with a scene in which he takes vows to never let his brothers down in any condition where he is deployed. With his latest hit, Raazi, Vicky Kaushal is ready again to set the box office on fire.

After this, we then see a scene in which Vicky Kaushal as an Army Officer trains his team for the operation and delivers an electrifying speech “Indian Army didn’t start this war, but we will bloody hell finish it,”

On Tuesday, Vicky shared the official poster of the movie Uri in which a group of soldiers are being parachuted down into the enemy’s territory. Also, Karan Johar who recently directed Vicky Kaushal in Netflix anthology “Lust Stories” tweeted “Goosebumps wala trailer. You are amazing as is the trailer. Well done to the entire team. This one’s going to fly.”

Vicky Kaushal recently told news agency IANS “It was really nice experience to work in the film. In a short span of my career, Uri has been the most physically demanding film for me. We have worked really hard to make that film.”

The film is all set to be released on January 11, 2019.
